This compilation was created in memory of a group project that was in the works, but never came into the light. The group was created in 2008 by Decipher and Si-Klon. They envisioned it with the name: The Ancient Astronauts. Frantik and Gamblez shortly joined after, along with a few other like minded MC’s. Although the album was never released, these four MC continued to collaborate and constantly release solo material, leaving a powerful mark in the underground hip hop scene. Their love for true hip-hop culture was clearly visible during the time all these tracks were recorded. Their discographies are now classified as legendary relics of underground hip hop. This year (2018) marks 10 years since this group was formed. As a form of respect for these artists and its producers, we present to you this compilation. The intention of this compilation is to promote a rare sound/style of underground hip hop that has been lost.
